What to Expect

A welcoming, down-to-earth church

If you visit High Forest Community Church, you can expect a welcoming, down-to-earth environment where the Bible is taught clearly and Jesus is lifted up. You will find sincere worship, practical and Scripture-rich teaching, and a church family that values truth, grace, and genuine fellowship.

Our goal is not entertainment or performance but transformation through the truth of Scripture, the work of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Whether you have followed Christ for years or are just beginning to ask questions, you will find a place to learn, grow, and walk alongside others pursuing Him.

Your First Sunday

Good to know before you come

The service

Our Sunday service begins at 9:00 AM and typically lasts about an hour. Expect singing, prayer, and a message that walks through the Bible. Afterward, stay for Sunday Study at 10:15 AM.

What to wear

You do not need to dress a certain way to walk through our doors. You'll see everything from jeans to Sunday best. Wear whatever is comfortable for you.

Parking & arriving

Parking is available right at the church. Listen for the bell! It still rings every Sunday as the call to worship. Arriving 5–10 minutes early gives you time to find a seat and say hello.

Kids & families

Children are welcome in our services. If you have questions about what's available for kids during the service or Sunday Study, please contact us before your visit and we'll gladly help you plan.

Accessibility

Our building dates to 1861, and we want everyone to be able to worship with us. If you need help with steps, seating or anything else, call us at (507) 259-0868 and we'll be ready for you.

Bring your Bible

We love opening the Scriptures together. Bring your own Bible if you have one. If you don't, just ask and we'll help you follow along.
